About Anney
Anney is a licensed physician assistant, holistic somatic therapist, and craniosacral therapy practitioner. She has training in multiple modalities within the cranial work field, including over 500 hours of in-class training in Biodynamics, Biodynamic Cranial Touch, Upledger Craniosacral Therapy, Visionary Craniosacral Work, Pediatric CST, and CST for hospice care. Anney employs these various craniosacral modalities, as well as her education and training in psychology, somatic psychotherapies, osteopathic techniques, and western medicine as necessary to meet the unique needs of each client.
Anney has been a craniosacral practitioner since 2010. Her practice includes work with infants, children and teenagers, pregnant and postnatal women, hospice patients, chronic pain and illness, acute injury, trauma and PTSD, and various psychiatric and neurological disorders – as well as with healthy individuals in the process of transition or transformation, or looking to find greater alignment, balance, clarity, and wellbeing.
As both a medical PA and a holistic somatic therapist, Anney specializes in the management and treatment of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, and long covid - and the wide array of symptoms and conditions that accompany these under-recognized and under-treated disorders.
In addition to her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Anney also holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Religion. Her study and ongoing exploration of western medicine, holistic therapies, depth, somatic and eco-psychology, philosophy, and world spiritual and healing traditions inform her therapeutic work and the way in which she engages each session and client.
